Welcome to our web site, which is dedicated to one of the most scenic region in Ontario,Canada--Kaszuby. Our task is to familiarize those who have not yet visited Canada's Kaszuby, and also those who have  had that opportunity before. We hope that through this web site more people of polish origin decide to visit these breathtaking landscapes.
Our web site is specifically dedicated to the region in Canada known as Canadian Kaszuby.  Other nearby regions such as Barry's Bay, Wilno etc. are also counted in the region Kaszuby. However, they have their own web sites and we did not include them in our own.
What actually are the Canadian Kaszuby? It's a region of beautiful lakes;Kuiack,Wadsworth, Gun, Half-way, Dam and many others smaller lakes scattered between Combermere, Wilno and Barry's Bay. Kaszuby were first discovered in the early1950's by a polish priest; father franciscan Rafal Jan Grzondziel.
The permanent residents of Kaszuby are few. They are mainly farmers and retired citizens. However in summer this place becomes exceptionally lively. These grounds are popular for scouts, youth camps, camping and also for people who have their cottages.
This place is not only known for its clean air, crystal spring water and coniferous forest, but foremost for its unique Polish atmosphere. This atmosphere comes so close, that one can say this is a part of Poland itself in Canada.
We invite you to come and see for yourself.
Because there is nothing more delightful than to hear your native language in a foreign land, and to listen to well known polish songs like ,,plonie ognisko'' carried by the nightly breezes.

On Sunday August 5th (Civic Holiday Long-weekend) there was a dance at the Old Barn just off of Old Barry's Bay Road. A night filled with people from different age groups turned it to be a remarkable and memorable night. People from all over the area (including local Kashubs) attended this gathering which gave a lot the opportunity to meet one another and share a good time. Live music was performed by well known group ,,IMPULS'' together with John Gora.
Now, we have to wait another year to enjoy this wonderful party at the Old Barn in Kaszuby.
